4. Reading: A Week in Cappadocia
Nothing could have prepared me for the sight of Cappadocia at dawn. As our balloon rose silently into the pale morning sky, I gazed down at thousands of extraordinary, ancient, cone-shaped, volcanic rock formations — the famous "fairy chimneys" — stretching endlessly across the serene landscape.
